Scenic Beauty of India -Amazing Jammu and vibrant cultural heritage

Each part of India has amazing and mesmerizing scenic beauty. Be it Northern Himalayas, Eastern lush green landscapes, Western coasts ,Great Indian Deserts or Southern Grand Temples.

India is one of few countries where you can experience Himalayan serenity, vastness of ocean, liveliness of desert, unforgettable landscapes, all in same country.

Most important of all, India's rich cultural heritage and it's spiritual consciousness makes its place unique in the world.

Personally I like travel to Himalayan sites to the core of my heart. In ancient times Himalaya was the place where so many sages have done tapa-sadhnas (austerity). It is believed that in ancient times, abode of every spiritual seeker was Himalaya.

Himalayan sites are unique because of long term tapa-sadhnas (austerity) of ancient prominent sages and thus it produces vibrant spiritual atmosphere.

    AUM (ॐ) is considered to be a sacred word and  first word of each and every Vedic Mantra. In Sanatan Dharma (Hindu Religion) AUM (ॐ) is considered to be source of all sounds and knowledge.

It is believed that thoughts are immortal, Places where ravage wars have occurred, would prompt you to think aggressively where as places where eminent Rishis/Yogis/Monks have done tapa-sadhnas (austerity) would help you to discover spiritual side of yourself. This , I believe, was the main reason why Himalaya was referred to as "Devatma" literally means Spiritual abode.

I would try to cover every type of place in Himalayan vicinity whether it is spiritual or tourist spot and try to provide you some important tips for your journey.

States/Provinces with natural scenic beauty of Himalayas.

Jammu Kashmir- known as "Heaven on planet Earth" due to it's scenic beauty.
Himachal Pradesh- literally means "In the lap of Himalayas".
Uttarakhand- is referred to as "Land of Gods".

Purpose of this blog is to explore Indian Scenic beauty and provide my viewers an honest but my view, as well as reveal some places which are real beauty but still not much explored.

Due to excess modernization some of the beautiful places have been mere romantic spots...
So lets start our journey to have some glance on spectacular beauty of  Himalaya .I will try to update my blog and provide information on every spot in separate posts.

Jammu -  First of all I will be covering Hindu Pilgrimage place (Maa Vaishno Devi) which is located in Jammu and one of the main pilgrimage place of North India.

• Hindu Pilgrimage places are believed to be places of vibrant spiritual energy.
• It is a tradition to visit pilgrimage place in Hindu religion (Sanatan Dharma).
• This custom of visiting pilgrimage place is developed so that people can be benefited by absorbing this spiritual energy as per their capacity and enrich their Soul.

Near to Holy place Katra, there are couple of more tourist places namely Patni top and Natha top.

Patni Top & Natha Top - Tourist spots with major attractions are skiing, paragliding and trekking. Atmosphere is romantic/electric due to mostly young couples or youngster college groups, and this place can be visited throughout the year. A must visit place if you are in Jammu.
